About
Known for their dynamic energy on stage and imaginative music making, Piano Duo - Piano Phase Project made a striking entrance into the classical music scene in 2020. Monika Lozinskienė and Anna Szałucka take a special interest in repertoire influenced by jazz rhetoric and impressionism, with repertoire including Ravel, Debussy, Gershwin, Kapustin, Čiurlionis and Reich among others. The duo is known for writing their own arrangements and explore their creativity through exciting and innovative programmes.
Alongside traditional format concerts, Piano Phase Project explores new ways of presenting classical music to audiences by developing original musical installations in contemporary settings. The ensemble collaborates with contemporary theatre performers, dancers, visual artists, podcasters and broader media to invite listeners for a journey with classical music in a new and exciting environment.
Piano Phase Project’s most recent performances include the Bloomsbury Festival, The Musician’s Company, Kaunas Philharmonic Hall, Classical:NEXT conference and MO museum. Since 2022, the Piano Phase Project duo is represented by City Music Foundation.
